Bridges for New Beginnings is committed to assisting, supporting, and promoting all governmental and non-governmental organizations in the region that are in the process of deinstitutionalization. To that end, our long-term project is to open a Regional Training Center in northern Romania that will allow us to train and educate people from all Central and Eastern European nations.

In 2011 we reached a major milestone with the adoption and implementation of the I.M.P.A.C.T. manual of best practices. Modeled after the core principles of Innovative, Multidisciplinary, Person-Centered, Active, Continuous, Transformation; IMPACT is a 220+ page guide to help care-givers create a positive culture and supportive environment for special needs populations. The manual is the result of an eight-year partnership between Autism Services, Inc. USA, Hope and Homes, Romania and the General Directorate for Child Protection.
